Writing Prompt: Two Philosophers

Imagine these two middle-aged philosophers. There’s sitting in a tea house-turned-into-diner in the east of London. They sit there every day, in fact. In the morning, around 10am, they each arrive from their humble homes, and start the day with an earl grey, a cream cheese bagel, and a brief discussion about ethics. They end the day with either steak on Saturdays, or curry any other day, and a brief history of logic, pedagogics and the power of speech.

Around 7pm they get up and go their separate ways, back to their wives and families, getting some well-deserved rest before starting another day like this one. Each day is like this one, except for Sunday. Sunday is the day they spend in the part, walking through the streets, gaining experiences, reading books on topics they will discuss the following six days.

Today’s Tuesday. What are they talking about?
